Scientific programme

On behalf of Special Interest Group on Pain in Childhood, International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) we are happy to welcome you to the 9th International Symposium on Pediatric Pain in Stockholm, Sweden 17 – 20 June 2013.

 

The meeting will cover a broad range of preclinical and clinical research and current practice topics related to acute, persistent and chronic pain conditions, pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, psychological theory and, interventions, pain within hospital as well as community settings and much more.

In addition, there will be more than 30 topical workshops, two presentations by recipients of the Distinguished and New Investigator Awards. Poster presentations will provide up to date research and clinical information, and this year there will be a special trainee poster award session, and the top 5 trainee posters will be invited to deliver a 10 minutes oral presentation. A continuing Education Day, June 17 with Procedural Pain as the theme.
